Bilingual SLP – Full-Time Virtual Opportunity | Illinois K–12 Schools
Remote | 1099 Contract | August 11, 2025 – May 29, 2026
VocoVision, in partnership with Sunbelt Staffing, is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in Illinois for a full-time remote position serving students across multiple school sites (Elementary and High School). This opportunity is ideal for school-based SLPs ready to transition to virtual services while supporting diverse learners.
Position Details:

Start/End Dates: August 11, 2025 – May 29, 2026

Schedule: 37.5 hours/week

Caseload: No more than 60 students
-
Includes students receiving speech as a related service (case managed by a special education teacher)
-
Includes speech-only students directly case managed by the SLP
-
-
IEP System: Embrace (training provided)
-
Collaboration: Work closely with special education coordinators to develop a therapy schedule
-
Support: A para is in place to assist with virtual service delivery
-
Model: Caseload-based approach
-
Travel: Not required (fully virtual position)
Responsibilities:
-
Deliver engaging and effective virtual speech-language therapy
-
Complete evaluations and write IEP goals aligned with student needs
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
-
Document progress and participate in virtual IEP meetings
Qualifications:
-
Active Illinois SLP license and PEL
-
CCC-SLP certification through ASHA
-
Minimum 2 years of school-based experience
-
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
-
Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and has a reliable home tech setup
