School-Based Virginia Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist

Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a fully remote role for a school district in Virginia! As a Virtual SLP, you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students of all ages dealing with speech, language and communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals across the lifespan.
- Administer standardized assessments, observe clients, and gather information from families and caregivers to assess the nature and severity of disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide therapy through virtual platforms, ensuring a high level of engagement and support.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP-CCC license through the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in school-based settings.
- Previous experience with virtual assessments and IEP meetings is preferred.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Comfort and proficiency with technology, with the ability to pass a tech screening for remote work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
