School-Based Speech Teletherapy | Virginia

A contract opportunity is available for a bilingual Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy services within a K-12 virtual school setting. This part-time, as-needed position supports students through assessments and speech therapy sessions conducted remotely. The contract spans from early January to mid-June.
Responsibilities include conducting tele-assessments and providing targeted speech therapy interventions to school-aged children in compliance with individualized education plans. Effective communication and documentation skills are essential for collaboration with families and educational teams while delivering culturally responsive services in Spanish.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure
- Proficiency in Spanish for bilingual speech-language therapy
- Experience or training in teletherapy and telespeech service delivery
- Ability to perform speech evaluations and therapy virtually
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations and school-based therapy protocols
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work in school-based or educational settings
- Comfort using technology platforms for remote therapy sessions
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage as-needed caseloads
Location and Schedule:
- Virtual assignment serving students in the Virginia Beach area, specifically Chesapeake
- Part-time schedule on an as-needed basis (approximately two to three evaluations per week)
This role offers the flexibility of remote work while supporting the speech and language needs of diverse learners. Engagement will be under a contract arrangement through a staffing agency overseeing compliance and placement processes.
