Full-Time Virtual School Psychologist - WV
VocoVision is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide full-time virtual services to K–12 students across West Virginia. This position supports districts during a critical time of the school year, ensuring evaluations, eligibility determinations, and student supports are completed accurately and on schedule. The role is ideal for a psychologist who brings strong school-based experience and is comfortable managing responsibilities independently in a remote environment.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with special education teams, administrators, teachers, and families to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations, interpreting assessment data, and providing actionable recommendations that guide instruction and intervention planning. Strong organization, clear communication, and a solid understanding of special education compliance are essential for success.
Responsibilities

Conduct initial and reevaluation psychoeducational assessments using approved assessment tools

Interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional data

Prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports aligned with state and federal requirements

Participate in virtual eligibility determination meetings and IEP team discussions

Consult with teachers and administrators regarding academic interventions and behavioral strategies

Support MTSS and RTI frameworks through data-informed decision-making

Provide guidance on social-emotional learning and behavior intervention planning

Maintain accurate documentation, timelines, and compliance records

Communicate assessment findings and recommendations clearly to families and school teams
Requirements

Active West Virginia School Psychologist certification

Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

Prior K–12 school-based experience required

Strong assessment, report-writing, and consultation skills

Knowledge of IDEA, eligibility criteria, and compliance timelines

Ability to work full-time during standard school hours

Comfort delivering services through secure virtual platforms
