A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Charles Town, WV. This contract position involves delivering direct speech and language services in an educational setting, supporting students’ communication development through innovative teletherapy and traditional methods.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing telespeech and teletherapy sessions, progress monitoring, and collaborating with educators and families to enhance student outcomes. This role requires adherence to West Virginia state standards and maintaining professional licensure and certification.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active West Virginia SLP License and Teaching Certification, OR West Virginia SLPA License
- Experience with telespeech or teletherapy service delivery modalities
- Familiarity with school-based speech language pathology protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred for SLP candidates
Position Details:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Contract basis for the 2025-2026 academic year
