Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 95 students, shared collaboratively with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). The role requires thorough preparation for Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and active participation in these sessions. Supervising the SLPA and ensuring the delivery of effective teletherapy services are critical aspects of this position.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid and active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Experience working in Texas schools with familiarity in ARD meeting preparation and participation
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Proficiency in teletherapy and telespeech techniques
- Ability to supervise SLPA and manage shared caseload efficiently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
