Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Colorado
Position Overview
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Speech?Language Pathologist licensed in Colorado to join our telepractice team. In this role, you'll provide virtual assessment and therapy services to pediatric and/or adult clients across the state, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care—all from the comfort of your home office.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive telehealth speech and language evaluations (e.g., articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, voice, cognitive-communication) for clients across Colorado.

Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals aligned with current best practices.

Deliver ongoing therapy sessions via secure video platform, adjusting methods to online delivery.

Regularly monitor and document client progress, revising plans as needed.

Communicate effectively with caregivers, families, and other professionals (e.g., teachers, physicians).

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate services (e.g., occupational therapists, behavior specialists).

Maintain timely, thorough documentation for evaluations, therapy, session notes, and billing.

Attend team meetings, case conferences, and professional development/training workshops.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state telehealth regulations, and ethical standards.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance telepractice effectiveness.
Requirements
Credentials & Licensing

Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech?Language Pathology from an accredited university.

Active, unrestricted Colorado SLP license (or ability to obtain).

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC?SLP) preferred but not required.
Experience & Skills
-
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Strong familiarity with telepractice platforms and online evaluation tools.

Expertise in best practices and evidence-based interventions across age groups (e.g., articulation, language expansion, AAC, fluency therapy, cognitive?communication rehabilitation).

Excellent virtual communication skills and ability to engage clients remotely.

Adaptability to different ages, disorders, and service environments.

Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.

Technologically proficient with troubleshooting skills and secure data handling.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in educational or pediatric telepractice settings.

Bilingual (Spanish/English), or proficiency in AAC device programming and usage.

Prior training in social-pragmatic, literacy-based, or neurogenic communication treatment models.
