A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing teletherapy and school-based services. This role involves supporting students through remote speech therapy sessions as well as direct intervention within elementary and middle school settings.
Locations include:
- Warwick Elementary School and North Dorchester Middle School (immediate start)
- Choptank Elementary School (starting April 1st)
Contract duration extends through June 10th, 2026, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Experience delivering teletherapy and in-school speech-language services
- Familiarity with school-based therapy protocols and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions using telepractice and in-person techniques
- Collaborate with educators to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school district policies
- Provide timely communication with parents and school staff regarding student progress
