Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in North Carolina
Position Overview:
A North Carolina school district is seeking a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to students in PreK through 5th grade. This role supports students with a variety of communication needs, helping them develop functional speech and language skills to succeed in academic and social environments. The position is full-time and requires experience with Medicaid billing in a school setting.
Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual evaluations, screenings, and progress assessments.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams.

Provide direct and consultative therapy services using evidence-based practices.

Document all therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and complete Medicaid billing requirements.

Participate in IEP and team meetings, offering input on student goals and progress.

Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service staff to ensure student success.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).

Previous school-based or pediatric experience required.

Experience with Medicaid billing is required.

Strong communication, time management, and technology skills.
