A contract position is available for a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services to students from kindergarten through 8th grade in a charter school environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to embed therapy goals within classroom activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school policies
- Participate in meetings and maintain clear communication with parents and school personnel
Qualifications:
- Valid New York state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably in K-8 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly seen in school populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
