Remote Speech Therapy in FL
A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide on-site services within multiple elementary schools located in Bradenton, FL. This role supports students across a range of specialized classrooms, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Exceptional Student Education (ESE) pre-kindergarten, and integrated pre-kindergarten settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in diverse educational settings.
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as required.
- Provide supervision for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) at designated locations.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to support students’ communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a valid Florida SLP License is required.
- Master’s degree preferred; candidates with a bachelor’s degree may be considered in certain cases.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience working in school-based settings or knowledge of school-based speech therapy services is advantageous.
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites.
- Skilled in working with students who have ASD, ESE, and various communication disorders.
Location and Schedule:
- Assignments are located at Ballard Elementary, Sea Breeze Elementary, and Abel Elementary in Bradenton, FL.
- The contract duration is from the start date ASAP through May 29, 2026, with one assignment at Abel Elementary concluding in March.
- Full-time hours are available, with three full-time SLP positions to be filled.
