Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - MAT Leave (Jan-May 2026)
About the Role:
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual maternity leave coverage for a school district in Colorado. This full-time assignment begins in January/February and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY). The caseload includes 34 elementary students and 26 middle school students, all requiring ongoing therapy and support to meet their IEP goals.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy sessions to elementary and middle school students

Conduct evaluations, write reports, and provide recommendations as needed
-
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in compliance with district and state requirements
-
Document therapy notes and maintain progress monitoring data
-
Attend IEP and eligibility meetings, collaborating with school staff and families
-
Support students with a range of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Colorado SLP license (ASHA CCCs preferred but not required)

Experience with both elementary and middle school populations
-
Knowledge of IEP development, service documentation, and school-based compliance requirements

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Comfortable delivering services via teletherapy platforms

Reliable internet connection and professional home workspace

Compensation for this position ranges from $48.91 to $65.91. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
