What You’ll Need:
-
Master’s degree in Speech–Language Pathology from an accredited program (required)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP–CCC)
-
Active Massachusetts license from the Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
-
At least 400 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum (minimum 375 hours of direct service)
-
36 weeks (or equivalent) of Paid Clinical Experience (PCE) under a provisional license
-
Passing score on the Praxis exam (or equivalent)
-
Demonstrated good moral character and a clear criminal background check
-
2+ years of school-based SLP experience (preferred)
-
Bilingual candidates strongly preferred (especially Spanish-English)
-
Prior teletherapy experience is a bonus

Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated home workspace

What You’ll Do:

Deliver engaging and effective teletherapy sessions

Complete assessments, write IEP goals, and submit progress reports

Collaborate with school staff, families, and educational teams

Adhere to Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and licensure documentation standards

Leverage digital tools to keep students engaged and progressing

Licensing & Credential Highlights (Massachusetts):

Massachusetts SLP licensure requires a Master’s degree, supervised practicum, Praxis passage, and a clinical fellowship
