What You’ll Need:
-
Master’s degree in Speech–Language Pathology from an accredited program (required)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP–CCC)
-
Active Idaho license from the Idaho Speech–Language Pathology and Audiology Board
-
At least 400 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum (minimum 375 hours of direct service)
-
36 weeks (or equivalent) of Paid Clinical Experience (PCE) under a provisional or temporary license
-
Passing score on the Praxis exam (or equivalent)
-
Demonstrated good moral character and a clear criminal background check
-
2+ years of school-based SLP experience (preferred)
-
Bilingual candidates strongly preferred (especially Spanish-English)

Prior teletherapy experience is a bonus

Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated home workspace

Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and submit progress reports

Follow Idaho State Department of Education and licensure documentation requirements

Licensing & Credential Highlights (Idaho):

Idaho licensure requires a Master’s degree, supervised practicum, passing Praxis exam, and completion of a clinical fellowship
