An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within a school setting. This role involves providing high-quality remote speech therapy to students, supporting their communication development through virtual platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting telespeech assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
- Delivering individualized speech-language therapy sessions via telepractice methods
- Collaborating with educators and caregivers to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary
- Staying current with best practices and technological tools for virtual speech therapy
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure appropriate for the state
- Experience delivering speech therapy services through telepractice in educational environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and coordinate with school staff remotely
- Comfort and proficiency with teletherapy technology and software platforms
