School SLP Remote | California
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available to support a school district in Northern California. This contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate with existing speech services staff to provide teletherapy and in-person therapy to a diverse caseload.
Responsibilities include delivering both direct and indirect speech-language services primarily to middle school students, with some elementary and potential pre-kindergarten involvement. The caseload consists of approximately 50+ students and will be evenly shared with another part-time SLP, alongside supervision of a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Valid California Teaching Credential Commission (CTC) certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- California residency required due to mandatory district fingerprinting procedures
- Experience providing teletherapy services is highly preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload, including elementary and middle school aged children
- Skills in collaborating with other speech services professionals, including SLPA supervision
This contract begins immediately and continues through June 12, 2026, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to meaningful speech-language support within the school setting.
The position supports students who benefit from a combination of direct therapy sessions and consultative or indirect services planned in collaboration with educators and families.
