A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services within a school environment. This role focuses on delivering support through teletherapy modalities, ensuring accessible and effective communication interventions for young learners.
Qualified candidates have a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology and valid Louisiana SLP Licensure.
- ASAP Start- end of school year
- Full or part time hours
- K-12 caseload
- Guaranteed hourly rate: $35-55/hr
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments via teletherapy platforms
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educators and caregivers to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with relevant regulations
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Louisiana licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to remote learning settings and elementary-age students
- Familiarity with educational standards and Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
