What the Role Looks Like
As a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll be instrumental in evaluating and supporting students' communication needs. You will develop and implement personalized therapy plans, deliver services in various classroom settings, and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and educational teams. You’ll track progress, participate in IEP meetings, and help students build confidence and communication skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
This full-time, onsite role requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from July 2025 through May 2026. The position focuses exclusively on direct therapy services, with most assignments taking place in elementary school settings. Compensation begins at $45 per hour and may increase based on experience and qualifications. Please note: this opportunity is not open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Required Qualifications (Georgia)

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Georgia Board of Examiners license in Speech-Language Pathology

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) eligibility

Familiarity with IEP documentation and school-based service delivery

Background check and fingerprint clearance
