A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a high school setting. This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 55 students, primarily with mild to moderate disabilities, including some with severe needs. Support will be provided on-site through a facilitator assigned by the district to assist in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy and telespeech services aligned with students’ individualized education plans.
- Effectively manage a caseload of 55 high school students.
- Collaborate with an on-site facilitator to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Utilize SIRAS (Speech-language Impairment Reporting and Assessment System) for accurate documentation and progress reporting.
- Maintain compliance with state and district requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current active California Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Proven experience in California schools, specifically with school-aged populations.
- Proficient in the use of SIRAS for educational and clinical purposes.
- Ability to address a range of speech and language impairments, from mild to severe.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for virtual and onsite collaboration.
