Telehealth School-Based Speech Therapy | California
Located in Bakersfield, CA, this contract position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a high school setting throughout the current school year. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language services to high school students both through teletherapy and onsite sessions
- Collaborating with onsite facilitators to ensure effective service delivery
- Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Utilizing Specialized Education Instructional Services (SEIS) to support students' communication needs
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Proven experience working within California public schools, especially in a high school setting
- Comfort and proficiency with teletherapy platforms and techniques
- Familiarity with managing caseloads involving a range of disability severities
- Previous SEIS experience is required
