We are currently seeking a passionate and licensed Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team and support students across New Mexico through engaging and effective virtual therapy.
Job Summary:
As a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist, you will deliver virtual speech and language services to K–12 students in New Mexico, in compliance with state and federal regulations. You will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders, collaborating with school teams, and supporting students in reaching their full academic and social potential—all in a flexible, remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students via secure teletherapy platforms.

Conduct virtual assessments to determine student eligibility and needs for speech-language services.

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services, evaluations, IEPs, and progress reports in compliance with New Mexico state regulations.

Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student progress and generalization of skills.

Participate in IEP meetings and other virtual team meetings as required.

Customize therapy activities and interventions to suit the individual needs of each student.

Stay up to date on best practices in speech-language pathology and virtual therapy delivery.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current New Mexico SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

Minimum of 1 year of experience working with school-aged children (teletherapy experience preferred but not required).

Familiarity with New Mexico state education laws and special education processes.

Proficient in using virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and digital therapy tools.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Reliable high-speed internet and a professional, confidential workspace.
Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience with IEP development and case management in a school setting.

Knowledge of teletherapy platforms (e.g., Presence, TheraPlatform, or similar).

Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus, but not required.

Experience working with diverse student populations and a variety of speech/language disorders.
