About the Role
Join a teletherapy provider delivering speech language services to New Mexico school districts from a home office. You’ll provide evaluations, individualized therapy, and collaborate with educational teams—all via secure online platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct virtual assessments and screenings to identify communication disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
-
Deliver engaging one on one and group therapy sessions via teletherapy tools
-
Monitor progress and maintain timely, accurate documentation (session notes, progress reports, IEP updates)
-
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
-
Access and utilize teletherapy toolkits, stay current on best practices in telepractice
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active New Mexico SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) — required even if residing outside NM
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC SLP)
-
Minimum 1–2 years of school-based SLP experience
-
Demonstrated comfort with teletherapy platforms and digital tools
-
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
-
Reliable high speed internet and quiet, distraction free workspace
Telehealth Compliance & Technical Requirements

Must comply with New Mexico Board rules for telehealth, requiring that services match in person quality, and providers are licensed in NM
-
Providers outside NM must be licensed in NM to serve students within the state

Access to a laptop or desktop (tablets/Chromebooks typically not supported) with webcam and headset, and ability to pass a technical check
