An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students across multiple schools in Lake County, Florida. This contract position offers a full-time schedule with part-time options considered, providing flexibility to fit various professional needs. The role is itinerant, covering all schools within the county, with a primary assignment at Lost Lake Elementary in Clermont, FL.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 40 active students and providing consultations across the school district. The position requires strong skills in school-based speech-language pathology to support students with diverse communication needs. The district is highly responsive, offering the advantage of quick interview scheduling and efficient placement processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid professional license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working in school settings, specifically with K-12 populations.
  • Ability to travel county-wide for itinerant service delivery.
  • No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered.
  • Commitment to full-time work preferred; part-time considered.

  • Primary location: Lost Lake Elementary, 1901 Johns Lake Rd, Clermont, FL 34711.
  • Services will be provided on-site exclusively.
