A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to provide essential services in educational settings. This role offers a full 35-hour workweek, supporting diverse caseloads and age groups, with positions located in several nearby areas.

Location: Berwick, PA
Contract Duration: Starting ASAP through End of School Year (EOSY)
Full-Time: 35 hours per week
Caseload: 60-65 students

Position Details:

  • Five Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) openings
  • 3-4 positions focused on School Age students in Hazleton (Kindergarten through 12th grade, varied needs)
  • 1 position focused on Early Intervention near Wilkes-Barre, working with children ages 3 to 5, primarily those with Autism and developmental delays (~25%)
  • Caseloads include students with a range of speech and language challenges
  • Work will be onsite at one designated location
  • Potential for contract renewal for the following school year
  • Open to considering Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as well

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid certification as an SLP or SLPA with school-based experience
  • Ability to manage caseloads of 60-65 students effectively
  • Experience working with early intervention and school-age populations, including students with autism and developmental delays
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work onsite consistently at one location
