What is a Travel SLP?
A Travel SLP (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA) takes on temporary, contract assignments (typically for the school year) in school districts outside their home state. After the year, if you want to take your adventure somewhere else, you can! I’ll guide you through licensure in other states, coordinate interviews, walk you through contracts, and provide ongoing support before, during, and after your assignment. You’re never on your own.
ROLE OVERVIEW
- Onsite, school-based positions
- Full-time contracts (30+ hours/week)
- Contracts usually last the entire school year, with renewal potential

QUALIFICATIONS
- Open to working with SLPs-CCC, SLPs-CFY, and SLPAs
- License: current and valid SLP license in the state you are wanting to travel/work in.
Remember, we support you with what licensure to get and with reimbursement costs once you start your contract. - Preferred Experience working in school settings, but open to a range of experiences in your field.
- Must be eligible to pass a comprehensive background check.
