Overview:
Franklin Pierce Schools is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time onsite services for the 2025–2026 school year. This role will support the district’s Support Center, which includes programming for students in Life Skills classrooms.
This is a meaningful opportunity for an experienced SLP who is passionate about working with students with moderate to significant support needs in a collaborative and well-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy to students in Life Skills and Support Center programs

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
-
Develop and implement IEPs
-
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Document services and progress in compliance with state and district guidelines

Work closely with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student growth and communication goals
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid Washington State SLP license
-
Must be fingerprinted through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)

ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate required
-
Experience with special populations, including students in Life Skills programs, preferred

Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time management skills
