ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly qualified and committed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position with a respected school district in Spanaway, WA for the 2025–2026 academic year. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced SLP who thrives in educational settings and is passionate about working with students to enhance their communication, language, and social skills.
The incoming clinician will be supporting a diverse K–12 caseload. The district is known for its proactive leadership, collaborative team culture, and responsiveness to the needs of both students and service providers. Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and write clear, actionable evaluation reports

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs

Deliver direct therapy services across a range of communication disorders, including articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, and pragmatics

Collaborate closely with general and special education teachers, school psychologists, occupational therapists, and other related service staff

Consult with families and caregivers to support speech-language goals at home

Maintain timely and accurate documentation aligned with school, district, and state guidelines
About the Caseload & School Environment:
The assigned caseload includes students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. The district provides a strong support system, including access to digital tools, structured therapy spaces, and administrative assistance. SLPs in this district are considered vital contributors to student development and are included in key decisions involving academic and therapeutic planning.
Clinicians can expect a mix of IEP services, re-evaluations, progress monitoring, and consultation. Experience with assistive technology, AAC devices, or bilingual students is a plus, though not required.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Active Washington SLP license (or ability to obtain by the start of the school year)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will also be considered

Prior school-based experience is highly valued

Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
