School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Oxnard, California

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Oxnard, CA for the upcoming school year. This contract role supports students with a wide range of communication needs, providing assessments, therapy, and consultation services throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grades
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to optimize student progress
- Manage caseloads that include students with mild to extensive behavioral challenges
- Participate in regular consultations and team meetings
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathology license in the state of California
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students exhibiting diverse behavioral profiles
