Qualifications:
- Active SLP License for the state of California required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school environment is beneficial but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy for a diverse student caseload (age group and number of students to be tailored to assignment)
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Partner with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support individual student learning goals
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions as indicated by IEPs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and team consultations
