Speech Language Pathologist – Elementary School Setting
Location: San Mateo, CA
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (Current School Year)

This full-time, onsite opportunity is designed for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy services within an elementary school environment. The ideal candidate will hold a valid California SLP license and possess strong skills in pediatric speech therapy, including both teletherapy and healthcare settings as applicable. Experience working as an SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) or holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy to students in a school setting
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and assessments to evaluate student needs
  • Collaborate in IEP meetings, contributing clinical expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Write and maintain detailed Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Experience working within elementary school populations, preferably with pediatrics
  • Ability to conduct teletherapy sessions as needed
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
