Speech Pathology - Sunnyvale, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Sunnyvale, CA, supporting two high caseload elementary schools. This contract position offers flexibility, with a full-time 37.5 hours per week schedule or part-time arrangements for candidates seeking reduced hours. Immediate availability is preferred, with an anticipated assignment through the end of the school year.
Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and language services to students at Cherry Chase Elementary and Lakewood Elementary. The role involves supporting a high-volume caseload and conducting assessments approximately 1-2 days weekly. For part-time candidates, there is an option to work 0.6 FTE, splitting time between both school sites and dedicating an additional day to assessments.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials (SLP or SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence, CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting
- Ability to manage high caseloads effectively
- Proficiency in conducting speech and language assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
