This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role serves K-12 students in a dynamic itinerant capacity across multiple schools in Charleston, South Carolina. The position is a contracted, short-term maternity leave assignment lasting through mid-March 2026, requiring a flexible professional capable of supporting 2 to 3 campuses.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, assessments, and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student communication goals. The SLP will provide direct therapy sessions and collaborate with school staff to ensure comprehensive speech-language support tailored to each student’s needs.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active South Carolina state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) is required; no pending or provisional licenses will be considered.
- Eligibility for Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) only; candidates with Clinical Fellow or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credentials are not accepted.
- Experience delivering speech-language services in educational settings, preferably itinerant or multi-site.
- Ability to manage caseloads covering a broad K-12 age range and coordinate therapy across several locations.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records, complete evaluations, and develop IEPs.
