School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Sugar Land, Texas

You will primarily serve 2-3 schools, while being based at a central office that encourages collaboration with fellow professionals. This position includes some supervisory responsibilities, with the expectation you may oversee a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). The district values work-life balance and offers guaranteed remote work one day each week, with additional remote flexibility for the right candidate.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC licensure and eligibility to work as a School-based SLP in Texas
- Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations
- Knowledge of and skill in implementing a workload model approach is highly valued
- Previous supervisory experience a plus, especially with SLPA oversight
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Comfortable collaborating across a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language services to students at multiple school sites
- Complete assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and track student progress
- Provide support and supervision to SLPA(s) as needed
- Participate in meetings, collaborate with faculty and families, and support the district’s workload initiative
- Manage schedule efficiently while flexing between onsite and remote duties
