Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Needville, Texas
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the school year at an elementary school near Guy, TX. This contract role offers a supportive environment where your skills can make a meaningful impact on students’ communication development.
Ideal candidates hold a TX SLP license and school credentials, with preference given to those who have their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Prior experience working in schools or pediatric settings is highly valued.
Key Qualifications:
- TX SLP license and valid school credentials required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, treatment, and progress monitoring for elementary-aged children
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans to support communication development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies
