Speech Language Pathologist in Stuart, FL

Step into a dynamic SLP contract position serving vibrant schools on Florida’s beautiful southeast coast. This is an on-site role supporting diverse K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year, with a variety of caseloads available including middle school, ASD/EBD units, high school, and PreK-8 resource therapy. Multiple maternity leave coverages are needed, and you’ll collaborate closely with onsite SLP teams or work independently, depending on the assignment. Your flexibility could allow you to cover full-year positions or shorter assignments as preferred.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license (CCC required)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting ASD, EBD, or InD units is a plus
- Ability to work full-time on-site; flexibility for 1-2 campus assignments
- Must complete required fingerprinting (previous DOH prints may be transferable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students, adapting interventions to diverse learning needs
- Evaluate, develop, and implement IEPs in close collaboration with school staff and families
- Manage and document student progress, maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
- Attend team meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration, and offer input on best practices
- Assist with transition coverage for maternity leaves, ensuring continuity of care across sites
Role Details:
- Full school year positions: August 2026 – June 2027
- 35 hours/week, Monday – Friday
- Single or split assignments between 1-2 schools, depending on caseload
- Interview availability for July 1, 2026 is needed
