School Speech Pathology | Stuart, Florida
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Stuart, FL, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role will primarily involve servicing students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade, with assignments varying between one to multiple schools depending on availability and preference.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with the school calendar and schedules
- Monitor student progress and maintain timely documentation and reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Supervise Clinical Fellows if applicable
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) with provided supervision
- Experience working with K-12 populations, particularly early childhood through elementary grades
- Familiarity with ASD units is a plus
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) preferred; part-time positions available across multiple schools
Location and Work Details:
- On-site work only; no hybrid or remote options
- Primarily based at one campus but assignments may involve multiple schools including elementary and middle schools in the Port St. Lucie and Ft. Pierce areas
- Typical caseload includes pre-K to 5th grade with occasional middle school assignments
- Part-time options at specific schools available, which can be combined to equal full-time hours
