A reputable K-12 school in Vero Beach, FL is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to work with students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade across various school settings, including some part-time options available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs, primarily serving Pre-K through 5th grade.
  • Support students within general education classrooms as well as specialized ASD units.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
  • Provide services onsite; remote or hybrid work is not available.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
  • Experience working in school settings and with pediatric populations.
  • Ability to provide supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFs) if applicable.
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time schedules based on campus needs.

Assignments may include:

  • Northport VPK-8: Full-time position with a caseload mainly consisting of Pre-K to 5th grade students, including off-site Head Start programs.
  • FK Sweet Elementary: Part-time role serving PK-5th grade and one ASD unit—1 day per week.
  • Palm Pointe K-8: Part-time position with ASD units, 2 days per week; this site can accommodate SLPAs.
  • Dan McCarty Middle/Forest Grove Middle: Part-time opportunities with no other SLP onsite.

This role requires on-site presence and offers a collaborative work environment focused on supporting student communication development.
