Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in preschool through 5th grade, with some assignments extending to middle school.
- Deliver individualized interventions and collaborate with educators to support speech and language development.
- Manage caseloads effectively and maintain detailed documentation, adhering to district and state guidelines.
- Supervise clinical fellows (CFs), if applicable, to foster professional growth and compliance.
- Support specialized programs, including ASD units and Head Start partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs.
- Strong collaborative skills and flexibility with on-site assignments.
- Willingness to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) or combine part-time positions across multiple schools.
Assignment Locations Include:
- Northport VPK-8 (full-time, primarily PK-5th grade caseload)
- FK Sweet Elementary School (part-time, 1 day/week)
- Palm Pointe K-8 (part-time, 2 days/week, ASD units, accepts SLPA support)
- Dan McCarty Middle School and Forest Grove Middle School (part-time assignments)
This role requires on-site presence with no remote or hybrid options. The position begins ASAP and continues through June 2, 2026, following the school calendar.
