Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Strasburg, VA
Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving school-based settings near Strasburg, VA. Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based SLP services highly desired
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver therapy to diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students on caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Conduct assessments to determine eligibility and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required by the district
