Work Schedule: 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, totaling 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for students across elementary and high school levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Current Virginia SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary settings, with some exposure to high school cases
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational environment
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain timely documentation
