A specialized opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide critical services within a K-12 educational setting in Stockton, CA. This contract role offers a flexible and meaningful way to support students' communication needs across multiple school sites, depending on caseload requirements.
Position Details:
- Location: Stockton, CA (multiple school sites depending on caseload)
- Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with valid CCC certification preferred
- Work Schedule: Approximately 6 hours per day, typically between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM, with slight variation by site
- Duration: Immediate start through May 29, 2026, with observance of Winter Break (12/19/25-1/12/26) and Spring Break (3/23-3/27)
- Caseload: Expected to fall within standard caseload limits; exact numbers to be determined
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Provide direct therapy services targeting speech, language, and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt across multiple sites
- Commitment to student-centered care and collaborative teamwork
