A temporary opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services during the Extended School Year (ESY) in a K-12 educational setting located in Fremont, CA. This contract position offers the chance to support students' communication development and help them achieve their educational goals over the summer months.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credentials
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement speech and language therapy interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for eligible students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with various communication disorders
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
