A full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Stillwater, OK. This contract role offers the opportunity to support children from kindergarten through 12th grade by providing specialized speech and language services throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with appropriate state licensure
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12), preferably in an educational setting
- Expertise in pediatric speech and language disorders
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if applicable
- Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and IDEA regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
