A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve a K-12 student caseload of approximately 26 students. This contract role offers an opportunity to deliver specialized speech-language services within an educational setting, beginning ASAP through June 12, 2026.
Location: Warren, MI
Duration: Current School Year (CSY) Contract
Schedule: 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day
Typical Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Note: Initial work hours will be increased to complete required compensatory time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders in students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification/license suitable for school and pediatric settings.
- Experience working in K-12 schools with a diverse student population.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
This role is ideal for a dedicated SLP looking to impact student communication skills within a supportive and structured school environment. The position requires flexibility in initial hours due to compensatory time requirements.
