SLP Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide direct therapy services both individually and in small groups.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records.
- Consult with teachers, parents and staff to support student needs in the classroom.
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.
- Support social communication skills and language development across various settings.
Qualifications:
- Required: North Dakota SLP License or SLP Paraprofessional Certificate issued by the NDDPI
- Required: Ability to work onsite part-time or full-time
- Required: Ability to commute
- Preferred: Previous school-based experience
