Pediatric Speech Therapist in Hickory, NC
A healthcare setting is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a middle school caseload in Hickory, NC. This contract position runs for the current school year (CSY) and involves working 37.5 hours per week with students from PreK through 12th grade. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ needs.
- Deliver therapy sessions focusing on speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to healthcare and school requirements.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as applicable and appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience in school-based speech therapy with pediatric populations.
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent.
- Skills and experience spanning school and healthcare environments.
