School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Stamford, Connecticut
A full-time speech-language pathologist is needed for a maternity leave contract position starting in December. This role involves working onsite at a middle school location in Stamford, CT, supporting students with speech and language needs through the end of the school year or approximately 12 weeks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in middle school students
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school-based settings, particularly at the middle school level
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or demonstrated competency
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
