Speech Pathology - Fredericksburg, VA
This full-time contract opportunity serves as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a K-12 school setting in the Fredericksburg, VA area. The position supports elementary and middle school students with caseloads typically around 50, not to exceed 55. Candidates with active Virginia SLP licensure are invited to apply, including Clinical Fellows who require supervision. Experience in schools is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

- Familiarity with delivering speech therapy services to K-12 students, particularly elementary and middle school levels
- Willingness to work onsite exclusively; no remote or hybrid arrangements available
- Flexibility to serve a caseload spanning no more than two schools
- Ability to maintain caseloads of up to 55 students, focusing on individualized treatment plans

Location and Work Schedule:
- Position located in Fredericksburg, VA, within the Washington DC metropolitan area
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week) with part-time candidates considered if available for a minimum of 20 hours/week
- Contract duration through the current school year, from ASAP start to May 29, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required
