Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time Contract | Washington, D.C. Area
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based contract position in the Washington, D.C. area. Requirements:

Must meet all local and state licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Washington, D.C.

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
-
Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
-
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students’ communication strengths and needs
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals aligned with student abilities
-
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary collaboration, and family conferences
-
Provide support and training to staff members to enhance student communication in academic settings
-
Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques and technology to engage students and promote communication development
