Location: Just Outside St. Louis, MO
Position: Temporary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Fall Semester
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming Fall semester. This temporary position is to cover two maternity leaves. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our diverse population of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Provide training and supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Bachelor's degree for a Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Missouri state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
